A good rule to follow: always have ingredients for a homemade pizza on hand.
Tonight, I was thankful I followed said rule.
Saturdays have officially been dubbed “Pizza Night”, but today is Good Friday so I made an exception. I had some leftover basil from last night’s dinner so why not?
I did not have enough string cheese for stuffed crust, but I made sure there was plenty of oregano, garlic powder and dried basil throughout.
I used some grated parmigiano along with mozzarella and cheddar, and I think the colors turned out well.
I will be doing a post soon with my favorite go-to homemade crusts and sauces but in the meantime – ain’t it pretty? 🙂
